CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS -
  • Stop in the Sine-Saloun Delta in Senegal, an UESCO Biosphere Reserve and a natural habitat for many bird species, marine turtles, dolphins, West African manatees, crocodiles
  • Visit the fishing villages of Djiffer and Fadiouth
  • A stop will be made at the incredible giant Baoba tree
  • In Bakau we will visit the "kachikally'" a sacred crocodile pool home to approximately 70-80 crocodiles
  • In The Gambia visit the National Museum and the colorful Albert Market
  • Visit Kiang West National Park and Bao Bolong Wetland Reserve, famous for numerous rare and migratory birds
  • Get in-depth knowledge of The Gambia National Park's flora, fauna and wildlife by a local national park ranger
  • Visit Baboon Island, home of the Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Project
  • Visit the bustling Gambian port town of Kuntaur to enjoy a "Kankurang" performance, believed to have spiritual powers
