About your Arizona Show host: Daniel Dieter Abt is originally from San Diego, California. He has been living in Arizona as an adult since the mid 1970's. In 1968 through 1972 his family lived just outside of Phoenix on his stepfathers family ranch. His step-fathers family had arrived in Arizona via a forefather who had been a Conquistadore. Some of Arizona's oldest families were founded by Conquistadores who left the Spanish army and married native americans. Daniel's step-father Carlos inspired him with his deep love and sense of history about the state and it's unique beauty. When he left San Diego to live in Arizona he told friends and family, "I used to live next to an ocean..now I'll just live under an ancient one." Daniel holds a degree in design and funnels his creative energies into this website as well as his other website dedicated to h is love of Ocean Liner History. He lives in , as he puts it, "The toenails of the Tucson Foothills" with a "staff" of : two dogs, two cats, one bird and a few fish. Check the online indicator, if it says, "I'm Online" please say "howdy!". |
